Stoker 1st Class Daniel Archibald MacLeod of H.M. Submarine 'Thunderbolt', Royal Navy was killed on 28th March 1943, aged 28. The son of Neil Cameron MacLeod and Barbara Wallace Simpson MacLeod, he is remembered on the Chatham Naval Memorial.
