Medals to two members of the Pullman Family, one a Battle of the Somme Casualty and the other killed aboard a Minesweeper off of the coast of North Africa in 1941.

1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal all named to S-2627 Corporal S. Pullman, Rifle Brigade. Memorial Plaque named to Sidney James Pullman. Sergeant Sydney James Pullman, 11th Battalion, Rifle Brigade as killed on 3rd September 1916 and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.

Also with his relatives medals – Temporary Lieutenant K.G. Pullman, Royal Navy Reserve. 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, War Medal 39-45, all unnamed as issued with handwritten casualty slip named to Ty Lieut Kenneth George Pullman, RNR. The son of James and S.M. Pullman, husband of Rose Margaret Pullman, he died whilst serving aboard HMS Klo, a minesweeping whaler on 2nd July 1941 and is buried in Tel-El-Kebir War Memorial Cemetery.

With box of issue addressed to his wife ‘Mr Rose M. Pullman, Little House, Wichen Road, Newport, near Saffron Walden, Essex.
