Awarded to Gunner (No.9917) H. Forsyth, Lancashire Royal Garrison Artillery Militia, who would have qualified for the Militia Long Service and Good Conduct Medal after serving for 18 years and attending 15 annual camps. A total of 1587 medals were awarded between 1905 and 1930, when it was superseded by the Efficiency Medal, of which 1446 awards were made during the reign of King Edward VII.
