Ogg, 1st Battalion, Lovats Scots who later served on the Western Front from 23rd August 1914 with 4th Divisional Artillery Column, Royal Field Artillery. Queens South Africa 1899-1902, 3 Clasps: Cape Colony, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902, the top two bars loose on ribbon (36635 PTE. A. OGG. LOVATS SCOUTS.) 1914 Star (35200 DVR. A. OGG. R.F.A.) British War Medal and Victory Medal (35200 DVR. A. OGG. R.A.). Alexander Ogg served in the 2nd Contingent of Lovats Scouts to travel to South Africa and would later serve in France with the 4th Divisional Artillery Column, Royal Field Artillery.
