BOLTON.BORD.R).Edward Victor Bolton enlisted in to the 1st battalion of the Border Regiment 20th June 1910 and first landed in theatre of war 2B Gallipoli / The Balkans. He was captured by the Germans and taken prisoner of war at Templeux 1-5-1918. He was held at Parchim & was serving with the 5th battalion at the time of his capture. He returned to the UK at the wars end & was discharged with a silver war badge age 27 18th April 1919 and returned to live in West Ealing, London. Complete with MIC & medal roll details.
