Henry Himbury saw service as a Private (No. 3610) with the 20th (East Devonshire) Regiment of Foot during the Crimean War and was present at the battle of Alma on 20th September 1854, the battle of Balaklava on 25th October 1854, and the battle of Inkermann on 5th November 1854, as well as during the siege of Sebastopol which lasted from 11th September 1854 through to 9th September 1855. He is noted as dead on the roll, the date given as 17th February 1855. Good Very Fine
