Field, 9th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers who died of wounds on 1st August 1916 and is now buried in Liverpool (Kirkdale) Cemetery, and a Great War pair and Plaque to Private J. Field, 2nd Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment who was killed in action on 21st October 1918 and is now remembered on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial. 1914-1915 Star (1122 PTE. G. FIELD. R. FUS.). George Field saw service as a Private with the 9th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers on the Western Front from 1st June 1915 and died of wounds on 1st August 1916 and is now buried in Liverpool (Kirkdale) Cemetery, and is noted as the son of Mr. G. and Mrs K.H. Field of 121 Pinner Road, Oxhey, Watford. Brothers medals comprising: British War Medal and Victory Medal (25997 PTE. J. FIELD. R. BERKS. R.) Great War Memorial Plaque (JAMES FIELD). James Field was born in Oxhey and was a resident of Watford. He enlisted at Hertford and saw service as a Private with the 2nd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment and would be killed in action on 21st October 1918.
