Great War 1914-1915 Star trio and original Silver War Badge certificate awarded to Private W. Clark, 10th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers who was wounded by gun shot. 1914-1915 Star British War Medal and Victory Medal (14388 PTE. W. CLARK. NORTHD FUS.) Along with the recipients original issue document for the Silver War Badge Walter Clark from Seaton Delaval, Northumberland enlisted in to the 10th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers 26th October 1914 and first landed in France on 25th August 1915. The war office casualty listed dated 4-9-1916 stated that he had been wounded with a gun shot wound to the back & he was discharged with a silver war badge 23-10-1917 age 32. Sadly the recipients silver war badge is missing from the group. However the issue certificate is present & in truth the certificate is much harder to find than the actual badge.
