William George Burden was born in Brighton on 10th July 1894 and would see service on the Western Front from 16th August 1914 and having survived the Great War is noted in the 1921 census as having been residing in the section house whilst being stationed at Tottenham Court Road Police Station. He died in Croydon on 2nd September 1974.
