Great War 1914 Star, Victory Medal and Silver War Badge awarded to Lance Corporal E. Vinall, 2nd Dragoon Guards who saw service on the Western Front from 8th November 1914 and who would later be discharged no longer physically fit on 31st August 1917.

Ernest Vinall was born in Trowbridge, Wiltshire and giving his trade as a collier on enlistment would go on to see service as a Lance Corporal with the 2nd Dragoon Guards on the Western Front from 8th November 1914 and would be discharged no longer physical fit on 31st August 1917. Vinall died in 1930 and his obituary published in the South Wales Gazette on 21st March 1930 states that he had earlier served during the Boer War, we believe with the South Wales Borderers. He died in Wyllie Village near Pontllanfraith.
