      Great War Battle of the Somme casualty pair awarded to Private E. Harrison, 26th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force who was killed in action on 29th July 1916 and who having no known grave is now remembered on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.

      Pair: British War Medal and Victory Medal; (3664 PTE. E. HARRISON. 26 BN A.I.F.)

      Condition: Good Very FIne

      Edgar Harrison was born in Glasgow, Scotland and enlisted on 28th September 1915 seeing service with the 26th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force with whom he served in France having embarked from Brisbane on HMAT A55 Kyara on 3rd January 1916. Harrison would be killed in action on 29th July 1916 and having no known grave is remembered on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial. His next of kin was his father A. Harrison who lived at 519 Alexander Parade, Dennison, Glasgow.
