W.S. ROBERTSON. 1/HAMPS.R.) British War Medal and Victory Medal (6909 PTE W.S. ROBERTSON. HAMPS. R.) Walter Scott Robertson was born in Dublin and enlisted in Southampton. He first landed in France on 27th August 1914 serving with 1st Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. He would transfer to the 2nd Battalion and died of wounds in France on 13th October 1918 aged 32.
