      Great War casualty pair awarded to Private D. Nicolson, 8th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders who was killed in action on 7th August 1917 and is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery. British War Medal and Victory Medal (S-17825 PTE. D. NICHOLSON. SEAFORTH.) Nicolson came from Crowlista, Uig, on the Isle of Lewis and served with the 8th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders being killed in action on 7th August 1917 and is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, he is noted as the son of Donald and Catherine Nicolson of Crowlista, Uig, Stornoway.
