      Great War casualty pair awarded to Private W.H. Turnbull, Leinster Regiment and later 5th Battalion, Connaught Rangers who was killed in action on 10th October 1918 and is now remembered on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial. British War Medal and Victory Medal (5818 PTE. W.H. TURNBULL. LEINS. R.) Wilfred Hall Turnbull was born in Hunwick, County Durham and enlisted at Bishop Auckland. He was killed in action on 10th October 1918 having previously joined the 5th Battalion, Connaught Rangers. He is now remembered on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial and is noted as the son of William and Lydia Turnbull of Rough Lea, Hunwick, Willington, County Durham. (2) Nearly Extremely Fine
