Cyril Wilfred.Howarth first landed overseas on 7th November 1914 serving with the 2nd Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. He later transferred to the Royal West Surrey Regiment with service number G-35976 and finished his war serving with the Labour corps with service number 67412. The August to November clasp is a period tailors copy of the slide on type but the recipients entitlement his confirmed on his MIC.
