      Great War Mons Trio awarded to Private C. Pearce, 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment who saw service on the Western Front from 11th November 1914, and was later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. 1914 Star (3058 PTE. C. PEARCE. 1/GLOUC.R.) British War Medal and Victory Medal (3058 PTE. C. PEARCE. GLOUC.R.). Charles Pearce first landed in France 11TH November 1914 serving with the 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire regiment. He later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps with service number 142832 and was discharged at the wars end. Complete with the recipients original 1st Army commanders divisional leaving certificate which is named in ink to the top left hand corner & gives the recipients M.G.C details.The certificate is yellow with age and has been folded in to quarters. Its repaired on the reverse with sticky tape. (3) Good Very Fine
