      Great War Mons trio awarded to Private L.G. Edmonds, 11th Hussars and was killed in action on 24th May 1915 and having no known grave is remembered on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal (5867 PTE. L.G. EDMONDS.

      Great War Mons trio awarded to Private L.G. Edmonds, 11th Hussars and was killed in action on 24th May 1915 and having no known grave is remembered on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal (5867 PTE. L.G. EDMONDS. 11TH HUSSARS.) Leonard G.J. Edmunds was born and enlisted in North Cadbury, Bath and first landed in France on 9th September 1914 serving with the 11th Hussars. He was sadly killed in action on 24th May 1915, aged 29 and having no known grave he is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Joseph.N. and Sarah Edmunds of North Cadbury, Bath. (3) Good Very Fine
