      Great War Officers 1914-1915 Star trio awarded to Lieutenant T. Turnbull, Machine Gun Corps who had previously served as a private with the 2nd Dragoon Guards. 1914-1915 Star (GS-5773 PTE. T. TURNBULL. 2-D.GDS.) British War Medal and Victory Medal (LIEUT. T. TURNBULL.) Thomas Turnbull first landed in France 18-5-1915 serving with the 2nd Dragoon Guards / Queen's Bays & went on to be commissioned in to the Machine gun corps 24-10-1916. He applied for the issue of his trio in 1921 whilst living in Kirkcudbright, Scotland. (3) Good Very Fine
