      Great War pair awarded to 2nd Lieutenant C.F. Hull, Royal Air Force. British War Medal and Victory Medal (2. LIEUT. C.F. HULL. R.A.F.) Charles Frederick Hull was born on 24th November 1893 and lived in Heworth, North Yorkshire. He originally enlisted into the Yorkshire Regiment with service number 46274 and later went on to transfer to the Royal Engineers with service number 22336. He finally transferred to the Royal Air Force as an other rank with service number 322084 prior to his commission in 1918. He was passed fit to serve as an observer 23rd May 1918 whilst serving in France. He was discharged to the unemployed list 10th May 1919. He applied for the issue of his two campaign medals in 1923 and gave his home address as 17 Main Avenue, Heworth, Yorkshire. (2) Nearly Extremely Fine
