      Great War pair awarded to Private E. Clark, 2nd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment who saw service on the Western Front from 6th March 1915, he would later serve in both Egypt and Salonika being twice wounded and gassed, but would survive the war. British War Medal and Victory Medal (3599 PTE. E. CLARK. E. SURR. R.) Edward Clark saw service with the 2nd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Volunteering in September 1914, he would see service on the Western Front from 6th March 1915, he would later serve both in Egypt and Salonika, being twice wounded and gassed. He would survive the war to be discharged to Class Z Reserve on 11th April 1919. (2) Good Very Fine
