Vernon. 1914-1915 Star British War Medal and Victory Medal (M.6802 G.V. HARRIS. SHPT.2. R.N.) Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, GVR 2nd type bust (M.6802 G.V. HARRIS. SHPT.1. HMS VERNON.). George Victor Harris was born in Exeter, Devon 23-6-1884 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a shipwright in 1913. He served onboard HMS Monarch from April 1914 to April 1916 & spent the rest of his war service at HMS Victory. He was awarded his LS&GC in 1928 & continued to serve until he was discharged to a pension in 1935. Complete with copy service papers. (4) Mounted as worn, Very Fine
