Great War Western Front Military Medal group awarded to Pioneer H. Beasley, Signal Sub Section, Royal Engineers, late Royal Field Artillery who saw service in France from 22nd May 1915 and was awarded the Military Medal in the London Gazette of 14th March 1919. Harry Beasley was a resident of West Hartlepool and first landed in France on 22nd May 1915 serving with the Royal Field Artillery. He went on to serve with the Royal Engineers and was awarded the Military Medal in France whilst attached to the 47th Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery, this being announced in the London Gazette of 29th August 1918. He was finally discharged to Class Z Army Reserve on 14th March 1919. Along with three original photographs of the recipient in civilian clothes later in life. (4) Good Very Fine
