BLANCHARD. DORSET. R.) British War Medal and Victory Medal (LIEUT. D. BLANCHARD.) Defence Medal. Douglas Blanchard was a member of the Special Reserve serving with the 3rd Middlesex Regiment. He first landed in France on 3rd October 1915 serving with the 2nd Dorset Regiment and went on to serve in Salonica.
