      India General Service Medal 1895-1902, 1 Clasp: Relief of Chitral 1895 (3692 Pte. F. Patmore, 1st Gord Highrs.) Francis Patmore, son of Arthur Patmore and Eliza Patmore of Aspenden, Hertfordshire where he was born in 1873. He would go on to see service with the 1st Battalion, Gordon Highlanders during the Chitral Expedition between March-August 1895 during which the Gordons with the Guides Infantry of the Indian Army during the storming of the Malakand Pass. He died of disease on 29th November 1895 and is now buried in Rawalpindi Cantonment Centenary. Nearly Extremely Fine
