With Regular Army Certificate of Service named to 4688539 Albert Martin, a studio portrait of Martin in uniform, an Order of Service for the dedication of the book of honour and memorial windows at York Minster on 1st August 1947, and Soldiers Release Book Class A to the recipient. Lance Corporal Martin originally attested in 1932, and was discharged and then re-engaged on the same day for Second World War service where he saw service with the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in the campaigns in Africa, Italy and in North West Europe.
